_{BACKGROUND HISTORY}
Born into the famous Hatake family, Kakashi was a simple child, with an amazing brain. Despite being brought up in a single parent family and no siblings, Kakashi was easily pleased, and got on unspeakingly well with his father, even if the elder Hatake was strict about Kakashi's education. Hatake Sakumo was one of the most intelligent minds that could have ever come out of an education system, working in both the army and for the government. Because of this, Kakashi had a reputation to uphold, and thus was enrolled into education as soon as he could walk.

For the first seven years of his life, everything was well, until the unfortunate event that lead to Sakumo's suicide. It was unknown outside of the family and government, but he allowed critical information on the status of a certain individual, of whom happened to be a close family friend, explicitly, causing him to lose his job, money and status all in one night. Kakashi had been scarred for life to find his father dead, a gun in his hand with a bullet to his head, pooled in his own blood on the floor of his living room.

Ever since that day, Kakashi grew to be an incredibly timid child, sensitive, despite hiding his softer emotions with a hard outer shell. A man named Namikaze Minato took the boy under his wing and became a surrogant parent. Since Kakashi had been so ashamed of his father, he hid beneath a bandana to hide his almost identical face. He was both frowned upon and praised because of his fathers previous status.

The boy had always been quiet and never made any friends, until a boy named Uchiha Obito acknowledged him at the tender age of eleven. While the two clashed for the majority of the time due to the Uchiha's carefree spirit and willing nature to show all of his emotions, both developed a bond, and a year later, they were best friends. Through this bond and rival nature, they met a girl named Rin, and the three became close.

However, likewise to his own father, Kakashi was given important, valid information on the Uchiha family, which of course put Kakashi in a vulnerable state. This lead in Obito and Rin being torn away from his life. Obito was taken away, and presumed dead the following week.

This lead Kakashi into an even more deprived situation than he currently had been in before, not being able to trust anyone with his mental status. If what he had been through wasn't enough, he was entrusted with information on Minato, shortly after his first son had been born, and was killed. As Kakashi had no means to support his own mental abuse through unfortunate events, Kakashi sent the child to an orphanage and left school. He lied about his age to get into the army in hope of being able to feel again from the numbness that had overtaken his very being, or hoped to get killed to end the misery his life had grown to become.

Killing people added to the mental trauma, and it wasn't until the young Maito Gai found him, bloodied and run down with alcohol at the age of nineteen and encouraged him to leave the army. The first bond in over five years, Kakashi found his salvation again in this man and changed his ways in hope for a second chance in life. This second chance gave him the opportunity to return to school and take on a Mathematics minor and English major. After those two years, at the age of twenty three, Kakashi went through teacher training and became a teacher at the local school. While Naruto had attended the school, throughout his part-time jobs, Kakashi had halfed whatever money he earned and put it into a bank account for Naruto, knowing that Minato would have wanted Kakashi to care for him.

During his teaching life, he re-met the young orphan in his own class, along with a girl named Sakura and an Uchiha. The three of them, he realized, were very similar to his own first friends.

Time shifted and changed, progressing further, and Kakashi followed Naruto through school and college, shifting his jobs, where he now works as an English and home-room tutor.

Instead of family, over the years, Kakashi collected abandoned dogs, so instead of relying on humans, he relied on the canines to give him company, and ironically, none of them had died. He trained under Gai, the single person he could call a friend, to keep his mind clear and body in top condition to counteract the damage he had done with it in the past while in the army.

Considering his lack of growth and being able to express his transition from a child to an adult, Kakashi induldges in erotic, romance novels to catch up on what he missed out on as a teenager. He is incredibly wary about relationships and has only attempted to date one woman, which ended abrutply out of fear. Transitioning from his aloof nature, Kakashi has become carefree, laid back, and is often late to his classes. Despite the mask he wears both physically and emotionally, Kakashi tries to smile and find the positives in life.
